I can barely keep up with all the amazing things said about the SOBCon07, the Successful and Outstanding Blogger Conference this past weekend. I’m still processing this amazing event. I stayed in Chicago longer to meet with local bloggers and do some business, so I have just arrived back and will be sharing the lessons I learned in the next few days.
I was so eager to meet all the great bloggers whose blogs I admired for so long, and was surprised at how many people were just as excited to meet me. It was a love-feast, as many have described, without a doubt.
As I struggle to find the words about this event, I’ll leave you with a partial list from some of the great fellow bloggers there who blogged online, during, or after the conference included:

Wow! Now that’s some link-love. That is wonderfully organized. Thanks for putting it all together for us.
Great, Lorelle! What a wonderful single post with all the links in one place! Thanks!
Yowza! That is such an amazing list, Lorelle…I’ve been following the various posts as they came out, but there’s something about seeing them all gathered in one place that particularly compelling. As usual, you’ve created a one-stop resource for all of us and I’m grateful yet again.
Tammy
Lorelle, it was awesome meeting you! I was shocked when you told us you’ve been blogging for more about 15 years, it’s amazing, you’re a great resource, and i really enjoyed talking and chatting with you, i would’ve liked to stay in Chicago a couple more days to hang out with all fellow writers (hehe since we shouldn’t call ourselves bloggers) I had a blast!
Let’s keep the conversations going! 🙂
Hi Lorelle. What an amazing and very complete list of anything and everything that took place over the weekend at SOBCon 2007.
It was definitely a weekend to remember and like many, I was honored to finally meet you, the one, the only, Lorelle on WordPress in person. The best part was I even got a picture with you. w00t.
Thank you kindly for the mention and link love.
Like you, I’m still decompressing from the weekend, 2 hour time difference and the crazy flight home 🙂
Hi Lorelle
Thanks for spreading the link-love even to those who (although wishing they could have been there) weren’t there, but followed as much as possible of it from the other side of the ocean.
I’ll be there next year for sure!
Karin H. (Keep It Simple Sweetheart, specially in business)
Hey Lorelle.
Funny, I felt the same way. I was so excited to meet bloggers I read – you included. And I was truly blown away by how many people wanted to meet me. I never really thought about it from that angle so it was a pleasant surprise.
This post is great. I see a few posts that I hadn’t seen yet. So I’m going to head right over to visit some more of my new friends.
Blessing to you and your family.
Hi Lorelle… sorry we didn’t get much of a chance to meet and talk at SOBCon07. I’m enjoying your book a lot and am passing it along to my pastor (a new potential blog convert).
I’ll look forward to seeing you at SOBCon08!!
Hey Lorelle,
After meeting you, I can’t believe YOU are at a loss for words… 🙂
Just kidding, it was great meeting you and everyone else and having a chance to get to know the people behind the Blogs a little better.
Hope to see everyone again next year, and maybe even some new faces too. 😉
Hey Lorelle, thanks for such an excellent recap. Your site is so readable, I didn’t need my glasses. Small mercies, thank you. I’m going to have to find out a bit more about 9 rules…
Lorelle! You were a revelation last weekend, helping us in so many ways, and stepping in with a great comment or MC assist at just the right times. You have my utmost respect and admiration as a First-Class “publisher” and new friend. May this vibe we created live long and prosper!
PS: Thanks for this summary of posts; this was a lot of work and I appreciate it.
Thanks, Terry. You were a star in the conference, too. I loved the dance. We all loved the dancing and singing. Quite the star, you show off. 😉
It was a dream conference and I’m so looking forward to next year. Simply amazing!
PS: We have to do “We Are Family” for next year’s song!
Wow– what a great list of all the SOBCon posts!
Who am i? Some one who enjoys writing, as some writing experience.
And enjoys sharing my thoughts with others.
Hey Lorelle, I’ve got the first live remote podcast up as well, click above if you want to hear the interviews with Wendy, Liz, Adam, Derek, and more!
