I announced on the Blog Herald that I’m asking bloggers which blogging conference they would go to, if they could choose or recommend any next year, and I wanted to extend that offer here.
I’m working on a project to list blogging events on a calendar for next year. Do you have a favorite? One you recommend? Are you a member of a blog club or group and want to share their schedule and information to others?
If you have a favorite blogging conference, convention, meetup, or special event that you enjoy, or long to go to, please tell me what it is, how to find more information about it, and why you recommend it.

Definitely BlogHer. This year the main conference will be in July in San Francisco, with a number of smaller events during the year. Find out more at BlogHer Conferences.

Of course! I hope BlogHer doesn’t interfere or conflict with WordCamp. I sure wish I had dates on that.
BlogWorld Expo was so much fun this November! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It will be in Las Vegas again in 2008.

i go to northern voice, here in vancouver, BC, in early spring.
i also host the vancouver bloggers meetup. it’s a great group; we’ve really become friends.
The WordPress group in Copenhagen, Denmark is an excellent and active group that meets around the time of each major WP release. We just moved our meeting info to Upcoming:

Between meetings, we hang out in a forum where newbies and experts share, teach, and learn together:

It is an excellent group. We have a tendency to meet on beautiful, sunshine-y days. Who else but a group of WP enthusiasts would stay indoors on such a day and upgrade and tweak their WP blogs? 🙂
Of course, the sites I link to here are in Danish, but if any WP fans are in the neighborhood on that day, they’d be welcome to stop by for some WP chit-chat.

Excellent. I haven’t checked but I’m sure you are listed in the WordPress in Your Language page on the WordPress Codex, If you aren’t, make sure your group is listed there where everyone can find you.
