I’m very honored to be a part of WebVisions this year, May 25-27, 2011, in Portland, Oregon. If you don’t have tickets, register now as this event is hugely popular and there is limited space for many of the various workshops and sessions.
My session is called C.R.A.P. Happens: WordPress and the Art of Managing Multiple Contributors. It is from 11:30 AM to noon on Thursday, May 26.
How many bloggers does it take to screw in a light bulb? WordPress expert and executive editor of WordCast, Lorelle VanFossen, shares tips and tricks for managing multiple contributors with WordPress using the C.R.A.P. system of blog management: Code, Research, Aggregation, and Plugins.
I’m joining a powerful group of speakers and presenters who are leaders in web technology, development, and design, many of whom are changing the face of the web as we know it today.
Blaise Aguera y Arcas * David Armano * Douglas Rushkoff * Jared Spool * Faruk Ates * Jamie Beckland * Carrie Brownstein of Portlandia * Leah Buley * DL Byron * Amber Case * Melissa Casburn * Jason Cranford Teague * Daniel Davis * Brian Dougherty * Justin Garrity * Kelly Goto * Aaron Gustafson * Andrew Hinton * Barbara Holmes * Tim Kadlec * Nate Koechley * Justin Kistner * Dave McFarland * Nicolle Mueller * Thor Muller * Nick Myers * Greg Nudelman * Brad Nunnally * Phil Oppenheim * Thomas Phinney * Lucretia Pruitt * Robert Reinhardt * Erin Jo Richey * Bill Scott * Nathan Shedroff * Scott Vandehey * Russ Unger * John Weiss * Dan Willis
So what am I going to be talking about?
My topic is focused on managing and developing a multiple blogger site. In addition to speaking next Thursday, I’m doing a series on what it really takes to manage and develop a multiple author site. I’m going to focus on a single hosted version of WordPress, but most of the points will relate to a WordPress multisite or blog network.
