    Hi.

Nice with 2.0.5 – but my WordPress was broken after I updated.
It seems like a problem with 302 redirections.

I got it fixed with a tiny hack, so it ended up working.

Now I look forward to 2.1 – That will be a great day!

Martin, I’ve reported this on the WP-Hackers and WP-Testers lists. Can you tell me in detail what you’ve done to fix your issue?

    Hi Brian,

To solve the problem I followed this solution:

I would pingback to your post – but that has not worked for 4 weeks now, I’ve done everything to fix it. WordPress is blog software that has zero professional support and documentation – hopefully they start to realize the brand will collapse if they don’t change their ways.

I’m sorry you feel that way. On the whole, I’ve never worked with a more responsive, and consistently and aggressively supportive group of online folks than those in the WordPress Community.

Not to snipe, but make sure you are asking the “right” question in a way that a volunteer can give you the answer. Since you have a full version WordPress blog, sometimes plugins and changes you make to your site can easily bork the tiniest thing. I just blew out one of my sites’ front page because I left a closing > out of a link by mistake. I thought my whole template file was goofed up and broken as I was viewing it in the new Firefox, but it was just a missed character. Took me a while to figure it out because I was looking for big problems when it was tiny. You never know!

But don’t blame all of WordPress because you can’t get the help you think you need on one issue. Complain when there are 10 issues you can’t get help with. 😉

An update for WordPress, the backbone of this entire site, has just been released. The new version, 2.0.5, is simply a security update which is always good for people, like me, who tend to have a lot of angry people looking to mess up their site as oft…
