More Contests Over wordpress.com invites

When a friend of mine announced he was putting his wordpress.com invite on ebay, I thought it was marvelous. And then I laughed when someone else started a competition to estimate the final bid for the ebay invite, and now Matt Mullenweg has started to heat things up with another competition. The best comment on why someone deserves a wordpress.com invite on his site in the next 12 hours…counting down….done… will be given an invite to wordpress.com.

He’s gotten 79 comments to pick a winner or two from.

Now, what I think should happen next is that he do this again, but then we all get to vote on who we think is the most deserving to win a wordpress.com invite. After all, his is just one opinion, and the masses need a vote. 😉

Ah, WordPress democracy.

Thanks for pointing this out, MP. The problem is with the Theme and I’ve brought this to their attention. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

This one of the problems associated with no-edit Themes and I’ll be posting an article about this in the next day or so – stay tuned.

  1. […] I could blog about the next release of WordPress 1.5.2, and ongoing development on WordPressMU, which later became WordPress MS.
