If you were following along, we covered some basics of blog structure and organization, looked at your audience and readership, began an editorial calendar, inspired writing subjects, started polls and surveys, opened the door to blog policies and legal issues, motivated you to edit your old posts, and started to explore your blog subject matter, purpose, focus, and goals.
Whew! That’s a lot in one month! We’ve eleven more left to do!
How is it going so far? Are you having fun yet? Any special requests?
Coming up in February, all subject to change, are blog exercises exploring more on these subjects and digging into multimedia, post article structure and examples, feed readers, building a content inventory, site maintenance…the list is long.
Thank you to everyone whose joined us so far on this year-long series of Blog Exercises. While there is a slight order to these, beginning in January, you may pick up the gauntlet at any time and dig in, cleaning up your site and improving your web publishing skills.
