In response to a post on Pennwriters Area 6 HQ on Inspiration and Dedication: Creative Resources, I wrote:
…And yet, I find incredible inspiration in the little things, the things that inspired writers for thousands of years. A moment shared. A conversation overheard. A glance down a new street. A journey. A unroutine routine event. A friend. A family member. The littlest of things can be inspiration for writing. You never know where the next moment will come from, so you have to keep yourself open – and always carry a notebook so the moment won’t be lost. 😀
Inspiration for a blog post can come from anywhere. Where do yours come from? Do they come out of the blue, or are they inspired by consistent “moments” and experiences?
I get a lot of blog story ideas from every blog conference and social event I attend. I meet so many wonderful people from all over the world and hear their stories, which inspire mine. For me, these are a never-ending source of blog content ideas.
I also find consistent story ideas and inspiration in the bathroom, as well as just before I fall asleep. I keep notepads in those places for when those gifts of insight happen and quickly jot them down. Memory can be so fleeting.
Your blog challenge is:
Blog about where you find your inspiration to blog.
Share the tips and techniques you use to inspire blog posts. In this blog challenge, I don’t want you to tell the back story of a specific blog post, but the techniques you use in general to keep the river flowing on your blog.

Why, from you Lorelle. Your honesty, your genuine care about your readers, your respect for your links as signs of your integrity and so on. You are an inspiration in the long term.
Interesting challenge. And I found a new inspiration in a very unusual way just this last week. Because of it I’ve gone back and reevaluated a lot of things and have published three new posts that are moving me out of my comfort zone. My next post will cover some of that background.

Hi Thanks for your help. As a novice, I think Word Press is terribly difficult. I just bought “Word Press for Dummies” and hopefully, it will make sense.

Really? You write posts, put them in categories, hit publish. Play with choosing from thousands of free themes? I don’t understand what is difficult.
If you are concentrating on what is MOST important, content, WordPress is easy. If you re trying to dig into the code, WordPress is still easy, but that’s not important. Delivering content, stories, ideas, dreams, hopes, information, that’s where your energies lie. WordPress makes that extraordinarily easy.

The inspiration blogs is good.You can give more new blog sites also.Just a definition of inspiration When the word inspiration is broken down into it is a component parts it simply means “in-spirit”.
When you are living “in-spirit” You feel excited about yourself and your life. You have a special connection with all parts of your mind and body.
I have been writing in a blog at work for a couple of years now. What inspired me to write was a feeling of giving. I wanted others to be inspired everyday to believe the world was a great place. My writing comes from everyday events, conversations with people, or daily happenings that may produce a lesson.
My work blog has become so popular I have decided to create the same thing for anyone and everyone in cyberspace with a passion for inspiration, motivation, leadership, and just simply being better today than you were yesterday. My wish is my new blog be as popular and touching as the blog I author and own at work.
