I travel pretty much full-time, living on the road, sleeping in motor homes, trailers, tents, hotels, and other odd places. I started traveling extensively when I was a teenager, turning it into a full-time life in 1996. I have lots of travel stories I share on Taking Your Camera on the Road, and this week, I want your travel stories.
This week’s blog challenge is:
Write a Travel Post.
Write a travel story or memoir. Recall a experience recently or in the past on a trip. You don’t have to explain the whole trip or give a blow by blow travelogue, just tell us about an experience you had traveling.
Take us there. Make the location and situation come alive. Was the moment funny? Sad? What made it memorable? Was it the people you encountered, the situation, the struggle to get to or from your destination?
Show us pictures. Show us pictures with words. Help us travel with you as you tell your traveling story.
These blogging challenges are published weekly and are an attempt to kick your blogging ass. They serve to challenge your thinking and efforts in blogging and blog writing. To participate, start challenging yourself now. Today. Go for it.
