Helping to promote WordPress events and groups is important to me, so I’ve created a new WordPress Events page.
If you have a WordPress group, or are planning a WordPress or blogging related conference, meeting, or event, please leave a very brief summary of the event on that page, with who, what, where, and when, and a link or two (no more!) to more information.
If you are looking for a WordPress-related event, then check out this list to see if there are any in your area. Please, do not ask questions about these events on that page as I can’t answer them. Direct your questions to the event coordinators.
We’ve been working on a WordPress groups or meetup list on the WordPress Codex and would love to add your information to our list.
A few times a month, if there is enough response, I will write up a summary of upcoming WordPress and blogging events from that list or elsewhere around the web. I think it’s important to find out what is going on with WordPress away from the computer, and it’s a great opportunity to meet other bloggers.
