Introducing Lorelle’s Blogging Challenges

Calling all fans of and blogging!

I’m starting a new series of competition-oriented tasks to motivate you through a summer filled with inspired blogging. It’s called the Lorelle on WordPress Blogging Challenge. And I’m counting on you to help spread the word.

Each week, give or take, I will be posting a new blogging challenge for all you bloggers. They will range from writing about a specific subject or topic to cleaning up your blog and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques. Some will be just plain fun and giggles, and others will rock your world so hard your brain will slosh.

These will be so much fun that I’ve even broken down and introduced a new category on my blog! It’s called “Blog Challenge”. Each Blogging Challenge will host the “Blogging Challenge” graphic to help you recognize a new Blogging Challenge post when it appears.

I expect you all to rise to the occasion and the spirit of the competition. After all, this can only be good for you. And your blog. 😉

So hang on, the first one will be coming tomorrow. Everyone! On your mark. Get set. GO!

Edrei, you were the inspiration for this new series. Prepare to work your cute buns off this summer! hee hee!

My buns are not cute…especially since it’s winter here and they are wraped nicely under layers of insulation. 🙂

Glad I could be of some inspiration. Likewise for some of your challenges to us. 🙂

This sounds like a bit of fun. I think I’ll have to play!

By the way – you could do with changing the URL to the category in the text. it needs “/ tag /” (without the spaces) in the URL.

Hey man, I was trying to get the tag going inter-blog-gaming for my game challenges, how about using inter-blog-challenge tag to make them easy to find?

    Great Idea.

I want to participate in your Challenge.

Thanks for keeping us inspired all the time !!

Thanks to everyone who accepted the first blogging challenge without even knowing you were being challenged! 😉

I’ve changed the link to the Blogging Challenges and it is and thanks to all who win the prize for finding the error. For those who missed it, we’ll have tougher challenges ahead, so get your radar brain waves going and stay alert!

    Hee hee.

    /me is confused!

    Hey Lorelle,

I am ready for the challenge, but unfortunately I don’t use wordpress for my blogs but I still can compete can I?

Oh how fun! I was looking for something like! 🙂
    Yayy, thanks!

    Anyone can do this, Keith.

And just to clear up the trackback from “Footsteps in the Mirror”, it was kamigoroshi’s cute buns that inspired me, not just any old bloggers butt. 😉

Anyone is able to play the blogging challenge, but even if (as a blogger) you don’t want to play you should go read her blog regularly. […]

  2. [..] Admittedly, some of the posts that I drop on to this blog are not great literary works. So, when I happened to read about some blogging challenges that would help stir the creativity a bit, I decided to give it a try. I’m starting this post at 10am, and we’ll see how long it takes me to get it published.

What do I know? Tech support. […]

  3. […] Before I get anymore backlogs of things to write, I might as well find the time now to blog about them. Apparently I was the inspiration for Lorelle’s Blog Challenge series which sets out to help other bloggers to rattle their “cute buns” in order for them to push the limits of their blogging skills and perhaps grow better in time. I for one, am not a person to turn down a challenge like this, though…I completely missed the line that it’ll be held once a week, so now I’m two weeks overdue for that first challenge. Why is that not surprising? […]

  4. […] Another week and another one of Lorelle’s Blogging Challenges. Since I’m still 2 weeks overdue from last time, I might as well get on it. Although, it’s safe to say that this would be one of the most technical-sounding posts I’ve ever done and if it sounds like greek to all but SEO junkies, I apologise. It’s fair enough to say I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing as well, but a challenge is a challenge, so let’s see what comes off it. […]

  5. […] 看到Lorelle on WordPress在上个月提出一个Blog Challenge,虽然迟了三个星期,不过我还是决定参加。每个星期,Lorelle就会给一个挑战。 […]

  6. […] I am going to get ahead of myself on Lorelle’s Blogging Challenge and skip what was supposed to be the third installment to the Blogging Challenge series. Let’s just say that ironically, personaly blogging tends to be a little more…tricky when it comes to trying to write one down when the mood hasn’t hit you. Since the mood hasn’t hit me yet and I might actually save it for a more important occassion, I’m skipping to the next challenge which just happens to be about who’s linking to me. […]
