One Year Anniversary Review: The Power of the Link

<a href=”http://lorelle.wordpress.com/&#8221; title=”Lorelle on WordPress” rel=”tag bookmark”>Lorelle on WordPress</a> Nestled inside of that simple HTML link is the power that makes the web the web. Like the spokes of a spider web, links connect each part and piece with another part and piece, making the part critical to the whole. You followed a link to […]

Blog Challenge: Who Is Linking To You?

This week’s blogging challenge is who is linking to you? We don’t need to know the specifics, but I’d like to know how many sites are linking to your blog and if you found some surprises in the process of discovering who is linking to you. To find out who is linking to your blog, […]

Conversations’ Get Started Blogging workshop post, “Whistle Stops”, included a link to Lorelle on WordPress – wordpressdotcom tagged posts. Interesting. Instead of linking to a single post, or even a category, or just to my site in general, he linked to a site search […]

I threw myself into the joy and spent way too much time monitoring the blog and rejoicing in the sudden popularity. And, as I knew from past experience, it soon died down. My blog stats leveled back out from […]

What Blog Statistic Gets Most of Your Attention?

As part of my daily routine, I check in on this blog to the blog statistics found on the WordPress.com Dashboard. There, I can check only vague information like how many visitors, what search engine keywords brought them here, the most popular posts, and the most popular referals. Back on the Dashboard, I check for […]
