Thanks for a great post on more extensive publishing solutions. I’m working with an editorial team with edit flow, the only issue right now is with the ability to send notifications to users. This is a main reason to use this plugin and it seems that the normal wordpress notifications are coming through just fine (for new user creations for instance.)

We can’t seem to get email notifications to function, despite the fact that they’re checked as enabled on the dashboard. There’s a thread here of the discussion.

I’m wondering if you’ve run into this issue and have possible workaround.
