Since I do not have any access (nor time) to your code, this is the best I can offer: Conditional Tags « WordPress Codex. I'm not sure it will work with what you want you want to do, so if that doesn't help, please try the WordPress Support Forum as they are trained to provide such support.

I am doing it manually. could you please write me an example of the function since I’m not very practical with php?

Are you doing this with a WordPress Plugin or manually? You can use conditional tags and queries to do a check to see if they have the Facebook image added to their profile page if you are doing this manually. If you are using a Plugin, check with the Plugin author.

Hi, this is a great post! I added the social network info to my authors (I also added some images). I have just a question, I would like to show the single image of the sociale network (e.g. FB) if and only if the author as written is FB address in his profile page, how can i do it?
