I use the free inkscape program when I want to mess around. I followed a few tutorials and took my main avatar (photo of me of course
and used it to create a cartoon image of my self. Really it’s a sad piece of work but the tool is fun to use. I use it with my websites for creating banners. inkscape.org

Thanks for sharing these great thoughts. I’m bookmarking this for future reference. Some of these I already do, so the point resonated most strongly with me. Keep feeding the creativity.
I am currently on holiday so, for this reason, I’ve nothing better to do than surf the web for travel ideas, lie around and update my blog. Well, more or less anyway

I did a post on a tool for writer’s block.
The magnetic poetry tool is supposed to get you thinking about words differently.
I don’t know if it really helps anyone with writing but it’s kind of neat anyway.
