Edublogs is an umbrella blogging community, all based upon providing free education-oriented blogs for teachers and students. If you had dug into the history and links I'd provided, you would know that Edublogs is made up of the original Edublogs, blogs for educators, <a href="http://learnerblogs.org/" title="Learner Blogs - free blogs for school students" rel="nofollow">learnerblogs</a> for school students, <a href="http://uniblogs.org/" title="Uniblogs - Free blogs for university students" rel="nofollow">uniblogs.org</a> for university and college students, and <a href="http://eslblogs.org/" title="ESLblogs - Free blogs for those teaching English as a second or foreign language" rel="nofollow">eslblogs</a> for those involved in teaching English as a second language and English as a foreign language. I'd say that this makes what James Farmer and his team at Edublogs has done deserving of as many balloons at their party as anything. No matter how many candles on their cake. He's a hero in my book.
