It also blocks other things. I had a terrible time once on the WordPress Codex not being able to read any page on the wiki that dealt with business and store techniques for WordPress because Adblock blocked all of it as an ad. We have to be careful using such tools as they tend to be hammers when we need a screwdriver. :D

In Firefox, click on Tools / Add-ons, then highlight Adblock Plus and click on “Options”. A list of current filters (blocking rules) appears. Click on “Add filter” and enter “http://*.snap.com” (without the quotes) in the “New filter” text box, then click “OK”. No more Snap popups, anywhere!
