This comment of mine might have created a referrer as mentioned in the post as I have reached here from the dashboard. I too get such referrers not because I am featured / showcased, it’s the “Blog Surfer Feature” on wordpress.com that allows you to add blogs from wordpress.com domain and view latest post from each of them without visiting the site.

I am not aware if the blog count increases or not… but it’s a cool feature
