I have a fair strict policy on human translation of this blog. Did you check it first? While I appreciate it, I do not do link exchanges with anyone. See Do I Need to Ask Permission to Put a Blog in My Blogroll? and Do You Need Permission to Link to Someone’s Content? for more information on my policy and the general guidelines for all blogs. It may sound harsh, but I get 10-25 requests a day for link exchanges to all my blogs, including this one. I can't keep up. I need to work, too. ;-)

There are a lot of features you can use in the Webmaster Tools without verifying your blog. The verification feature doesn't work for WordPress.com blogs, though rumors are flying that Google may add a third method to accommodate such blogs. So you use the features you can and the rest will have to wait, I guess. I'm keeping my eye open for WordPress.com bloggers, so you will hear as soon as I know.

I find this new feature addition pretty useful. SEO is cool but this tool has helped me to close some open sections of my blogs that must not be accessible to the world.

I just wanted to make sure that people don’t confuse this with “Google PageRank”, the little green bar “score” a web page gets from Google. Contrary to waning-yet-still-somehow-popular belief, a site’s Search Engine Ranking (where it shows up for a certain keyword or phrase) has NOTHING to do with Google PageRank Score.
