The UK chapter of STC, Society for Technical Communication, is hosting a one-day event, Wikis and Blogs for the Technical Writer, Saturday, 10th March 2007, The Orange Studio, Birmingham.

I'm not involved, but friends of mine are.
(And thanks for all your excellent tips, Lorelle. I am so behind on reading them all.)

Sorry for spamming your comments. Just got to thinking...perhaps you could establish a Google Calendar and share it with others who want to help track these events?

OK...good-bye again (for now!)

Open Source CMS Summit
http://2007.oscms-summit.org/
March 22nd and 23rd on Yahoo campus
Free - but "sold out" unless they add spots.

Lorelle - why in the world isn't WordPress there? Next year! We need to grow this OSCMS into a huge annual geek fest!

Thanks for this list - very helpful...Amy :)

Honestly, maintaining this list is painful, as I thought I'd have more help from the community to support it. So I often overlook the exact details of the cost of an event. So I'm still working on how to set the pricing scale.

If there isn't more interest, I will stop doing this for so many events and only concentrate on the free and/or strictly related to WordPress events.

I really appreciate you taking the time to find out the $$ involved! Here from Victoria, BC, Canada, I don't see any that I am likely to attend, though I just went to Northern Voice in Vancouver which was affordable and fantastic!

Not sure how the $$ work:
$$$$ BlogHer March = $717.90
$$$ World Wide Web Conference = $1295 for all five days
$ Gnomedex August = $449.00, info is available
