Pasting word processing documents as plain text works for text, it doesn’t work for publishing code. It’s not a new feature.

This might be a newer feature… But if you open the “kitchen sink” when creating your post, copy your code from anywhere and “Paste as Plain Text” it will display as it should. Just did that with one of my own posts.
