I have given up my notebook and my PC and blog without them. Nope, I do not use a voice recognition software (Never got used to one). I blog directly from my BlackBerry 8700g. Now, it’s almost the same as a keyboard on a PC (It’s QWERTY after all). Well, almost. ;-)

I think most people will feel more comfortable using traditional input devices like keyboards, mouse, etc. After all, it’d be damn tough using HTML Tags with voice recognition software.

I tried the voice recognition software a while back and gave it up. It misunderstood me every now and again, and it was just too slow to learn.

For long posts it’s great for a plodding keyboardist like myself. But for short blurbs, by the time I put on the headset and click on the microphone I can probably type it just as fast and with less hassle.
