We are using it as a content management system. We had too many pages that WordPress’ pages feature was dying on us.

The reason is that a Wiki is a spam heaven. The moderators have to clean it over and over again.

The other reason is people can overwrite other peoples information or change them.
A wiki is also unstructured or becomes unstructured very easy.

Thats why I like a forum as PHPBB (NOT bbpress= ugly and not enough functionality)

Wiki spam is a horrible problem. Pages get edited with embedded links all the time. Every now and then I go on a “clean up wikipedia” crusade, but it’s impossible to catch it all.

Spammers have scripts that look for open wiki installs.
