First, flash is near death. Second, if you choose to continue to support flash, if you are using a self-hosted version of WordPress, you can use Viper's Video Quicktags. If you are using WordPress.com, please check out their shortcode options for including video.

Well, that depends. You can not do this with a WordPress.com blog, just for clarification. You can do this on a full version WordPress blog. I'm not the expert for the rest of the blogging services and programs, so you would have to check specifics for their services and features. You could create an HTML container, like a DIV, in which you could put one or more STATIC video/links inside that would appear in the same spot all the time. You can even use Asides, a technique which posts a specific category of "posts" (like a video only category), set in the sidebar. There are many ways to do this, so it's hard to say exactly. I recommend you find someone who is an expert in HTML and CSS, as well as video embedding, to help you build exactly what you need. I also recommend you check out Video, Music, Podcasts, Audio, and Multimedia WordPress Plugins as you may find exactly what you need in a WordPress Plugin.

Question:
Hi, I am a newbie to blogging… Have a question:
How do I make a fixed location (or spot) on a blog page so that all video clips all get palyed back in that spot?
For example, if I wish to make a blog that always has say a top left hand side rectangular area for video, and have various video hyperlinks, each time someone clicks on the link, the video would play in the designated same spot, can this be done and how can I do it?

I am trying to make a one screen physical page blog so user never have to scroll or pagedown but everything is shown in it’s own “spot”.. Is this easy to do and are there themes already for this?
