Thanks, Gailann, but remember, we take care of all of our animals, and our friends. It’s caring for them when times are tough and they are hateful and mean that makes or breaks you. That’s another lesson we learned from Dahni. Unconditional love knows no bounds. It’s the ones who stick with you through the thick and thin because they believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Thanks for reminding me of that lesson that Dahni also taught us.

After reading this post, I went to your Camera on the Road site & read more about Dahni. And then last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I kept thinking about him. How horrible his life had started out & how unfathomable his pain must have been. And how wonderful you were to take him in (& suffer thru’ the tough times) & care for him. You can tell by your pictures that he was well cared for & loved. You & he really made an impact on me. Perhaps that’s who I’ll write about.
