Are you using some type of WordPress Plugin or script that changes the default functionality of comments on your site? WordPress has done nothing to force required registration upon you to the best of my knowledge. Check your settings.]]></description>

I get complaint that the same applies to my blog and that they can&#039;t be asked commenting anymore... wish i could turn that shit off... Wordpress ruined it for me by changing it.
