Woah, I’m not sure what to think of the Digg Cloud! That certainly is very overwhelming at first and certainly a bit of an information overload. It does display a ton of information in one place, though, and it could be very useful for quickly skimming top news stories. Like you, I think I’ll have to give it some time before I decide if I really like it or not. In fact, I’m still kind of undecided on if I even like sites like Digg or not. I mean, I have a favorites folder to mark sites that I really like, so I don’t know that I need to visit a specific site just to keep track of articles and such. I do like seeing what stories everyone else has rated as very good, though, so I enjoy that part of it. I guess I use Digg more like a news service and less like a place to mark things I’m interested in. Maybe I’m missing the point of the site? I don’t know, but I do know I’ve found some very useful information on Digg, and the Digg Cloud may make my information search even easier if I can get over the shear amount of text on the page.
