It looks like enough people whined that Referers is back again. See, you do get what you ask for when you ask the right people - be sure and use the Feedback button on your WordPress Admin Panels. ;-)

And javascript is not allowed anywhere in wordpress.com as set by the user. Remember, this is an alphaware test site, too, so they don't want people screwing things up before they get a chance to fix the core programming files.

Hi,
ditto on the above comment by Richard,
it seems to have disappeared during the move October 29-31, 2005. If wordpress.com no longer implements that feature natively, is it possible to use a plugin or javascript referer?
I found one for free at:
http://blogpatrol.com
but I didn't know how to use the javascript in the sidebar or if we were even allowed to.
Thank you for your help.
glad to have a pro figuring things out for us.

Hi,

I found the "referer" link disappeared. That's very helpful to me to find who and where the "hit" comes and evaluate the popularity of my blog. do you know how to get it again? please help.

thx and regards,
