Please ask GoDaddy for help. If you changed the URL in your settings, and I don’t know if you mean in the GoDaddy settings or WordPress, they can help you figure it out. If not, the WordPress Support Forum is filled with helpful folks.

Help!!! I do not even know where to begin. Trying to build my own website with WP. Changed the URL in my settings. Now my page opens to a text only format. The template is gone. When I try to login it tells me error etc . . . Hosting company GoDaddy refused to help. Any ideas Tried accessing database but says invalid login (user password). CRAZY! Thank you.

There are a lot of Contact Form WordPress Plugins you can try. They will have to work with WordPressMU so test them.

hi all, great resource you have here.

I have one request, i just cant seem to find. I have a multi user blog, transformed into a classifieds site. And i want to have it so when someone is viewing an authors individual post, they can contact the author by entering there info onto a dropdown contact form that will only send the question being asked, to that specific author. Is there a plugin or something that might achieve this.?

Currently i have setup so when viewing a post by an author, there is a link to contact the author. This is using the mailto: function. That works fine, but it opens the users outlook express to send an email. I want the email to be written on the site into a contact form. Then send to the authors email listed in their profile.

@ scott: If your WordPress Theme is Widget enabled, you can remove the Blogroll and Meta area. If it isn't, then you must edit the sidebar.php file in your WordPress Theme. I don't know if they are being distracted as much as you are being distracted. Blogrolls and Meta areas are typical on blogs. However, you left this question on an article dealing with WordPress.com. I believe all WordPress.com blogs are Widget-enabled and you should be able to remove those sections from within the Design panel for the sidebar.

How do i hide such as Blogroll and Meta on my WordPress blog? I have gone to Design > widgets thinking that would do it but i am not having any luck. Viewers to my blob are becoming distracted by this sidebar menu. Can you help?

Hi Lorelle!

I really like WordPress so far and having been able to solve any problems that I come across, except for the fact that all my readers have to make an account and log in to comment. I want to have a comment box like this one where a name and e-mail/website can be entered, or not. I would like a fairly open way for my readers to comment, but cannot find out how to change it in my settings.

Please help!

@ aline: Did you change Themes, add a new Plugin, mass with something? Or checked to ensure your blog has not been hacked (safe if you update regularly)? I'd just upload your Theme again from a backup. And ask for more specific help in the WordPress Support Forums. Good luck and I hope this fixes itself.

Hi There!

The posts I write on wordpress are now showing up on ascending order by date, instead of showing the latest date first. Is there a reason why this got switched all of a sudden? Is there any way I can change it back?
